I'm HOME!!!!

Thank you to all who helped is with our move, we couldn't have done it with out you!!! We are all settled in our new house, after staying up untill 430 in the morning. Dave's parents had our two oldest for the night and we took full advantage of the time. Our original plan was to work till about 1:00 or 2:00, but around 2 am, after some Coke, Candy and jamming to our ipods, our second wind kicked in. The excitment of the house looking complete stirred up the craziness in us both, and before we knew it, the clock struck 4:30. We slept for about 3 hours and were up working to finish up before our kids arrived. It was so fun to show them their new rooms all finished. It was a long, hard day, but the reward of resting in our new home was sweet. This dream has been a long-time coming, and I never want the excitment to wear off. I am soooo happy!!! I will post pictures soon!!!

PLEASE EXCUSE MY BLOGGING HIATUS

Did you miss me???? It has been way to long since I last posted. I didn’t want to call it quits with my blog, we were just on a little break. Sometimes you have to walk away from something to realize how much you really enjoy it.
When I started this blog, I decided that it would be a perfect way to document the everyday moments of my families' life. During my little “break”, I kept a list of things worthy of documentation, so buckle your seat belts and enjoy the happenings of my little life since my last post:

Hailey started ballet. She loves it!! She can't wait to perform on stage. When she shows me her latest moves, she always closes her eyes and sticks her chin up. She looks so serious. It really is the cutest thing ever!!!

Connor is finally potty trained!!! I am so proud of him. He chose this huge Lightening McQueen pillow as his prize. He also got a car rug and an upgrade from the crib to a bed, with Lightening McQueen sheets. What can I say, he needed lots of motivation, and I am not ashamed to bribe my children, especially when it means I don't have to change yucky diapers.

Livi finally got the bed she deserves. She loves sleeping in the crib. She was a champ to endure six months in the pack and play. After her first nights sleep in the crib, she woke up so happy and laid content in the crib for 45 minutes just smiling and checking out her new pad. She is the sweetest baby ever!!!!

Happy Easter!!! Don't they look so cute in their new Easter duds???

Hailey and Connor both got new sunglasses in their Easter baskets. When I grabbed them for a quick pic, they both got this "we are sooo cool" look on their faces. I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing.

One day I found Hailey and Connor dressed like this. They were playing "church"!! Hailey had just put their kids in the nursery and was rushing off to Relief Society, which was held in her room. Later that day, she also gave a sermon from the top of the slide. The message was all about being safe and staying out of the road. Reality is not a major part of Hailey's world and, well, Connor really has no choice in the matter.

Dave and I had a little get away!!! Dave had a conference for work in California and I got to tag along. We stayed in a beautiful resort, ate amazing food, relaxed by the pool, and played on the beach. It was so much fun!! Thanks Jenny and Stephanie for helping us with our kids you guys are the coolest!!!

Miss Livi got some grub. It took a while to get her little tummy to adjust, but once it did, there was no turning back. She loves her food!!! Her favs are Sweet potatoes and Pears.

And, last but not least...We bought a house!!!! I am so excited. Dave and I have been married for almost 7 years and we have moved 7 times. Needless to say, I am thrilled to be settled down!!!! We were planning on renting our town house for at least a year and then we stumbled across this house. It felt so right!!! We are so happy and feel so blessed. There is no place like home!!!

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!! It's good to be back!!!!
